Working from an office within the Leeds area, you will be expected to assist with the settlement of both domestic and commercial losses within the Major Loss team. Typically dealing with losses in excess of £50,000, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the electronic and paper files to a high auditable standard including preparation of Claim and Adjustment documentation as required. You will also ensure case reviews take place and are evidenced including minute taking and actions arising from these to drive the claim towards settlement. Responsibilities will also include preparing draft calculations, invoices, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven record within the Insurance / Loss Adjusting Sector. Progression towards professional qualifications such as Cert CILA or Cert CII would be advantageous as you will be expected to complete Dip CII within your first year. You must be well organised, have good communication skills and work well under pressure/deadlines.
