A new vacancy has arisen within this general insurance broker in Leeds for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join the team to support rapid growth plans.  If you have experience in broking and want to move your career to the next level look no further.  The successful candidates will provide outstanding customer service to a portfolio of commercial customers, increasing retention, enhancing revenue streams and generating new business.

You will be dealing with a wide range of SME businesses and will ensure that customer instructions are actioned quickly and correctly.  Review insurer placements and offer best advice on clients' and prospects' insurance programmes.  Negotiate premiums and levels of cover and offer appropriate premium payment options.  Maintain and increase profit through retention and grow accounts by cross-selling and up-selling.  Ensure strict compliance with FCA and company processes and regulations.

Applicant Requirements

This is a fast moving and highly professional role which will require you to have at least 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at Grade A-C.  Experience of selling insurance products to commercial clients and the drive to achieve results, solve problems and deliver service.   Excellent organisational, administrative, forward planning and team working skills.  A flair for communication, building relationships and influencing others. Experience of Acturis would be beneficial but is not essential.
