An SME Team Leader is sought to lead a team (ensuring that the team reaches their maximum potential in terms of development, customer service and productivity) and account handling own cases.  The role will involve setting renewal and new business targets, monitoring team performance, compliance, reviewing individual productivity and accuracy to identify training needs and ensure that the team operates at maximum capacity.  Will allocate work, manage staff appraisals and development (including instruction and coaching to create high performing teams), review and facilitate the provision of training, build team relationships, produce reports and optimise sales opportunities.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must have commercial insurance experience and the ability to generate sales themselves and with the team is important. Some supervisory/team leading experience is preferred, as is some compliance monitoring.  Looking for strong insurance broking knowledge and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.  Will ideally possess the Cert CII qualification, or be willing to study for and obtain.
