Our client, a well-established independent broker is seeking to recruit a Risk Management Consultant in West Yorkshire. The role will involve providing health and safety advice and support to new and existing clients, making recommendations for improvements based upon information gathered from customers. Providing Health and Safety consultancy services in accordance with the levels agreed with each individual customer. Promoting the image of and the quality of and the service set by the company. Creating and maintaining good working relationships with customers. Notifying the Complaints Officer of all complaints received. Collecting fees from customers within credit control guidelines.
Ensuring all communications with customers are recorded and dealt with in accordance with the agreed systems. Liaising closely with Account Executives and Account Handlers concerning mutual customers.
Prospective applicants must be NEBOSH qualified and have knowledge and understanding of health and safety legislation and of relevant company procedures preferably gained from within an insurance environment. Willingness to develop relevant knowledge by way of formal and informal training. Confident and effective telephone skills. Able to negotiate with customers, insurers and colleagues and able to identify customers' health and safety requirements and provide solutions.
