A new vacancy has arisen in North Yorkshire within this well respected commercial insurer for one, possibly two administration support assistants. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to a team of underwriters, dealing with all initial enquiries referred into the office, by supporting brokers/intermediaries.  The role will involve checking through the information, making sure this is correct and sufficient to progress the enquiry.  The role will combine good data input skills with the ability to get involved in some technical learning, which could lead to future promotion.

Applicant Requirements

Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate good administrative and customer service skills, together with excellent keyboard and communication skills.  A sound understanding of computer packages and keyboard skills is advantageous for what will be predominantly a paperless office.  You will possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above.
