An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Claims Handler to join the Customer Services Property Claims department of this well respected insurance organisation.  To provide quality customer service and decide on legal liability and policy liability issues. Dealing with aspects of property claims, excluding personal injury, initiating and co-ordinating investigations into liability and quantum, you will assist with referrals and the training of less experienced members of the team. Responsible to authorise cheques within laid down guidelines, deputising for senior colleagues in their absence. As part of the role, you will co-ordinate and carry out audits as per head office instruction. 

Applicant Requirements

The successful applicant will require a minimum of 3 years property claims experience. Will hold a demonstrable knowledge of the importance of good customer care and have sound judgement with the ability to analyse, evaluate and make logical decisions. Will show the necessary skills to work in a team environment. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's at grade C or above to include Maths and English.
