A leading insurer has a vacancy in Leeds for a Credit Controller. This role will involve effective credit control of a panel of accounts to maximise cash flow and to minimise bad debts whilst contributing to the overall profitability. Duties will include credit control in respect of assigned accounts, cash allocation and reconciliation, credit agreements/Direct Debit instalments, cash flow management and resolving account queries with brokers and underwriters.
Prospective applicants are required to have credit control knowledge, with excellent telephone manner being essential and strong numeric skills required. Personal attributes are to include excellent communication and inter personal skills, good organisational and administrative ability including effective time management along with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. The successful applicant will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) to include Maths and English.
