COMMERCIAL TRADING UNDERWRITER with over 7 years experience within the insurance industry. Based in a National Broker’s office deals with all aspects of Commercial policies, SME Packages and Commercial Motor (including Motor Fleet and Motor Trade) as a cross class Underwriter. Liaises with Brokers, negotiates and processes quotations and MTAs, regularly visits Brokers, arranges surveys and chases outstanding risk improvements. A good first point of contact, manages own workload, supports team members and signs-off junior colleagues work. Effective communicator and excellent team player, able to work on own initiative.
