TECHNICAL CLAIMS HANDLER who has gained over 3 years insurance industry experience following 5 years working in a leading bank. Commenced with present company as a Personal Claims Handler being the first point of contact for customers who had been involved in a motor accident. Dealt with individual claims from start to finish, taking ownership of each individual case acquired. Worked closely with the customer in order to resolve complaints before they escalated. Since July 2013, has been in the role of a Technical Claims Handler within the same department. Is a referral point for handlers who have any queries. Provides individual coaching for handlers that need development in specific areas of the job. Rolls out training to the teams of any process changes etc. Takes part in quality audits, listening to calls for the whole to identify any issues that may need resolving. Manages a team workload as well as own, keeping the team up to date on their progress.
