As a recruitment agency we are bound by both the Employment Agencies Act and the Data Protection Act of 2018 (GDPR) which supersedes all previous Data Protection Acts. With regard to data protection we must comply with the regulations therein which are designed to protect any information you provide for us. At all times we will comply with the provisions of the Act and any regulations or orders that are made under this Act.

DATA COLLECTION

This section explains what information Adjusting Appointments limited collects, and how it is used:

In order to assist you in the recruitment process we will essentially need a wide variety of information about you including personal details such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, an educational history and particulars about your professional working life.  We will also collect information regarding contact that we make with you (or vice versa) throughout the recruitment process in order to efficiently and effectively assist you.

From time to time we may also contact you to gather information, with your consent, to gain feedback on the service we provide to you.

All the information you provide either via telephone call, email or through our website will only be used for the company’s stated business and will not be passed on or sold to any other third parties without your prior consultation and approval. Unless you contact us and express your wish to request the ‘right to be forgotten’ (please see below) your information will be retained for 5 years.  If no meaningful contact has been made with you within this timeframe your details will be removed from our database. We will contact you to confirm that this action has been taken

If there are any changes to our privacy policy, either for business reasons or as a result of changes in legislation, these will be posted on this page. If we view the changes to be significant we may well choose to contact you directly to advise you of such changes. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Please contact us if you want to do so.

 

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We will only process the data that you provide whereby it is necessary to assist you in the recruitment process or you have given your consent to do so.  Such an example would be emailing a client (with your consent) with your details to apply for a relevant job opportunity.

You have the right to object to how your data is being processed.  You also have the right to restrict the processing of your data or withdraw your consent completely.

You can opt out.  To do so please contact compliance@adjustingappointments.com with your email and contact details and we will process this request (please note we do need to verify your identity to proceed).

 

YOUR INFORMATION

You have the right to know what information our company holds about you, correct and update your inaccurate or incomplete data records at any time, also you can request your data be made available/transferred to another organisation.  To do so please contact us at compliance@adjustingappointments.com or call 0330 341 0103 (Please note we do need to verify your identity to proceed). 

 

THE RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN

You also have the 'right to be forgotten' and have your data erased from our systems.
