Job Profile

Growing company based in Leicester who specialise in disaster recovery and building repair have the need for an additional claims handler.  Working within the existing team you will be expected to deal with a portfolio of property related losses on a cradle to grave basis.  You will be responsible for reviewing contractor estimates, checking validity of works, considering any subsequent variations to the agreed works schedule and dealing with the submission to the client for approval.  You will need to adhere to any SLA's in place and provide swift responses to all parties involved with the claim, whilst keeping all records updated.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous experience of handling Property Claims on a cradle to grave basis.  You will ideally have knowledge of preparing building schedules and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.  You must be able to maintain clear audit trails and keep accurate records.

This role is ideally suited for an experienced Claims professional who can work independently and as part of a team.
