Job Profile

National Major Loss Division of leading loss adjusting practice seeks to increase its support team through the appointment of two additional Assistant Adjusters in the Southampton area. You will work in support of the major loss team operating along the South Coast, in all aspects of their role involving commercial property losses in excess of £100,000. You will liaise with the adjusters, pull together reports, oversee fee-earning aspects of the Unit, manage relationships and undertake any other ad-hoc duties to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates can come from a variety of backgrounds, but it is important to have a knowledge of claims procedures, without necessarily having the technical knowledge. A background within a TPA environment and an understanding of the concept of fee-earning are both seen to be advantageous. Our client seeks a strong academic background, so a degree or progress with CII exams would be helpful preferred. Basic salary open to negotiation but ideally up to £32-33,000 plus benefits.
