Job Profile

Working for this loss adjusting operation you will be expected to work from a home base dealing with a portfolio of subsidence related losses, which will be mixed between domestic and commercial. Losses will typically be in excess of £50,000. You will be expected to pro-actively manage the subsidence claims in a manner that supports efficient and effective settlement for the policyholder and these will be done from initial diagnosis through to completion. This will be a regional role, so you will typically cover a county where you live and the surrounding counties. Your key responsibilities will be to understand the technical nature of the claim and set a strategy for the resolution. Prepare the initial appraisal with the cost recommendations. Ensure all planning, Building Regulations, party Wall and CDM issues are addressed. Seeking applicants in the South East, Midlands or North West. 

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their previous experience dealing with subsidence claims and ideally within an insurance environment.  Ideally you will be MRICS, MCIOB or MICE qualified, but may consider candidates who are not chartered, but have the experience.
