Job Profile

Loss Adjusting operation are currently seeking a Fraud Investigator to join their team to manage a portfolio of investigation insurance losses from various instructing Principals (covering Domestic and Commercial Property, Motor, Casualty and Niche Products). Working from a home base you will be expected to cover the whole of the North of England as well as Scotland and Northern Ireland. Working in partnership with the instructing client, you will undertake thorough and focused enquiries, report upon the outcome of the investigation and make informed and evidence-based recommendations on policy action. Where required, you will also deal with settlement negotiations on claims established to be valid. Cases where fraud is established may involve liaising with the police to secure a prosecution.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous investigative experience within an insurance environment and a counter fraud qualification would be advantageous. You must have excellent communication and written skills and have a high level of self motivation and personal accountability. It will be expected that you are able to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
