An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well established Specialist Investigation Unit (SIU) in Tonbridge. The role of First Party Claims Administrator will sit within the (SIU) and utilise a variety of desktop tools to assist with claimant profiling to determine the direction of the investigations. Working closely with the policy validation team to validate policy cover and direct the route for the customers claim.
As the successful candidate you will have Proven Customer Service & Motor Insurance experience. You will have the ability to Administer all new first party claim referrals with validation checks, instructions to suppliers and customer communication, Utilise a variety of desktop tools (CUE, MIAFTR etc) as well as various internet checks and databases to assist with claimant profiling and to determine the direction of the investigation. Pursuing follow up enquiries with external parties including regulatory and licensing authorities, other insurers and law agencies. Document Validation, Liaise with the Policy Validation Team to validate policy cover and direct the appropriate route for the customers claim. Assessing the completed `evidential picture` in order to determine the correct outcome for the claim.Managing new SIU First Party claims, in accordance with claims philosophy, claims handling procedures and service levels. Adhering to agreed personal authority limits and referring to line manager for authorisation where activity exceeds such limits. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements (including; treating customers fairly principles, DPA and FCA). Responding promptly and pro-actively to incoming telephone calls and correspondence by use of telephone, e-mail and letter.
