A great opportunity has arisen to join a leading loss adjusting practice as a Claims Team Leader. As a Claims Team Leader you will be leading, coaching and coordinating a team of Claims Specialists, Handlers and Administrators to ensure the effective and efficient handling of claims. Strategic planning to improve competency and efficiency of team in line with overall Group strategy. Essential qualities for this role are strong leadership, ability to prioritise workload with good time management. Technical Insurance knowledge desirable but not essential.
As a Team Leader you will be line manager for a team of Claims Handlers, conducting 1-2-1 meetings, Performance Appraisals, and dealing with all HR issues. You will Implement coaching and training techniques to ensure that all team members are confident and knowledgeable when dealing with customers, Setting clear objectives that support the achievements of the operation's goals, policies and procedures. You will assist in developing procedures, methods, standards and controls to foster operational efficiency, monitor compliance, and mitigate risks to achieve team results. You will be Involved in recruitment and selection processes, chairing team meetings, promoting teamwork & building a strong work ethic. Identifying and implementing process development opportunities from customer feedback and members of the team.
