I have an exciting opportunity for a home based insurance Relationship Manager to join the Claims division of a top 5 insurance provider. Covering the London area, this role will require remote relationship management and face to face visits, so the successful candidate will be required to live within close proximity of this area, but some national travelling will also be required.
This relationship management role represents the Claims Division both internally and externally and involves actively promoting my clients claims proposition to customers and brokers, with specific focus around an ever evolving digital claims assets, together with ongoing account management for a Trading Division. Managing customer expectations is a key focus of this role together with the identification of potential development opportunities from pre-quote, through to acquisition and implementation.
The individual will be required to create and develop strong relationships with key clients, brokers and Commercial colleagues as well as the internal Claims Stakeholders, to ensure they are providing a market leading Claims Service. A large part of the role is providing Claims representation whilst working alongside a Commercial trading division to enhance the overall clients Proposition.
Candidates must have strong influencing skills to enable them to coach and work collaboratively with the Claims handling centres, to provide any information around bespoke arrangements and provide a better understanding of the customers' requirements.
Claims Relationship Managers are viewed as a Customer Ambassador for the Claims Division and beyond. To be a success in this role, you will have proven insurance relationship management skills (either in a claims or underwriting/portfolio area) as well as the following:
