Technical Claims Advisor- Manchester City Centre - Hybrid role - up to £45k per annum plus an excellent benefits package

Our client, a Multinational Insurance Organisation with Headquarters in London are now seeking a Technical Property Claims Expert to join their Commercial Property Claims Division based in Manchester City where you will carry out a hybrid role working part office and part home. The role will involve providing technical expertise to drive positive results both on individual Property claims and for the Property claims department as a whole. This is an exciting and challenging role for any Technical individual seeking to work for a renowned and long established Insurance Company where you will play a vital part by acting as a primary source of technical referral for claims handlers and leaders within the Property Claims Team as well as managing a caseload of more complex and large loss claims where external Loss Adjusters have been appointed without a delegated authority.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Development / Coaching of team members within the Commercial Property Claims Team
  • Act as a primary technical referral point of contact for claims handlers and Team Leaders
  • Ensure the correct technical outcomes on supplier supported claims
  • Manage complex and large loss claims
  • Act as a technical referral point for the resolution of claims including complaints
  • Contribute towards meeting and exceeding targets

Applicant Requirements

About you

  • Commercial Property Claims Handling experience is essential for the role
  • Experience of handling more complex and large losses
  • Previous adjusting experience desirable depending on experience and background
  • Previous use of scoping technology and awareness of standard construction methods advantageous
  • Coaching experience preferredIndustry qualifications (CII/CILA), working towards or the willingness to obtain, progress further
  • BDMA Accreditation achieved or willingness to obtain

This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm, as well as a competitive basic salary you will also receive a range of optional benefits to suit your individual circumstances and lifestyle.
