Claims Administrator - East Midlands - up to £21,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package

A growing and renowned Digital Claims Management Organisation providing global insurers with the ability to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction throughout the claims process offering a cost effective claims service are now seeking a Claims Administrator to join their vastly experienced Subsidence team where you will work closely with market leading, knowledgeable Subsidence Engineers, Technical Claims Managers and Technical Claims Handlers enabling you to play a vital part within the claims life cycle by being at the first port of call.

Key responsibilities:

  • Check claims inbox for all new emails
  • Update Site Investigation reports
  • Action all new Insurer claims through a triage process
  • Email relevant handler/s with new Insurer claims
  • Monitor and update engineer site visits
  • Notify manager of all new appointments
  • Monitor all new claims
  • Ensure all Engineer reports are actioned and issued to Insurers within SLA
  • Answer incoming phone calls to the office
  • Deal with Field Agent queries
  • Chase outstanding customer spreadsheet links
  • Chase the Engineers on outstanding spreadsheets
  • Check all current ABI's -ensure all updates have been issued and are up to date, issue ABI settlement letters where applicable, chase for receipt of contribution cheques
  • Send completed agent appointments spreadsheet to Management team

 Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar position
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly word and excel)
  • Good knowledge of insurance
  • The ability to work in a fast pace environment and be able to work under pressure
  • Knowledge and experience in customer services.
