Motor Injury Claims Handler – Remote working – UK – up to £35k per annum 

An established Claims Management Organisation providing a first class Claims Management service to the Insurance Industry throughout the UK, are now seeking an experienced Motor Injury claims handler to join the Motor division where you will work remotely supporting the Personal Injury Team.  As a  Motor Injury claims handler you will review and maintain your own caseload of pre-litigated / litigated multi track cases.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage own caseload of high value, large or catastrophic loss personal injury claims and associated special damages
  • Handle fast track and multi-track cases
  • Evaluate cases, liaise with insurers, solicitors, clients, witnesses, repairers, engineers, medical experts, forensic accountants, counsel, courts, police and other relevant agencies
  • Review case history and liaise with other departments as required to establish liability
  • Assess cases for prospects of success at litigation
  • Ensure targets are attained

 

Applicant Requirements

About you:

  • Experience of handling own caseload of multi-track / large loss personal injury claims
  • Exceptional technical personal injury knowledge gained within an insurer or solicitor background
  • Sound knowledge of the CPR, Pre Action Protocols, Personal Injury Protocol and litigation procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload recognising the importance and urgency to work to tight deadlines
  • ACII qualified or progressing towards
