Motor Credit Hire Claims Handler – UK - Remote working - up to £30k per annum plus up to 10% bonus, customer review cash incentives, support towards industry qualifications 

Due to growth and expansion an established Claims Management Organisation providing a first class claims service throughout the UK are now seeking an experienced Credit Hire Claims Handler to join their Motor Claims Team. You will manage all aspects of third party vehicle damage and third party property damage claims presented by a third party directly or via solicitors, insurers and accident management companies.  There will be opportunities to progress and develop your career within the Property team due to new clients coming on board. This is a remote working role working Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of credit hire and third party property damage claims
  • Review case history, liaise with various departments to establish liability and investigate the validity
  • Handle all aspects of credit hire claims as a Non ABI GTA Insurer
  • Assess complex files i.e. liability, high value etc.
  • Spot insurer, handling agent and defendant solicitors’ trends and tactics
  • Monitor own caseload ensuring all actions are documented correctly and systems are kept up to date
  • Liaise and negotiate with all relevant parties to progress and settle claims quickly and effectively within your delegate authority
  • Ensure collective targets are attained
  • Ensure a relevant level of technical understanding with continuous development and learning

Applicant Requirements

About you:

  • A wealth of motor claims, particularly credit hire claims handling experience
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Knowledge of the ABI GTA and how to deal with credit hire claims
  • Good knowledge of credit hire case law
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise workload and the importance and urgency to work to tight deadlines
  • Insurance Industry Qualifications desirable
