Experienced Personal Injury Claims Handler, Motor  - UK  - up to £28,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package, offering a full training development programme with the opportunity to progress and help and support towards Industry qualifications (CILA), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Healthcare, Pension, Employee wellbeing assistance and Life Assurance.  Working hours 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. 

A global Loss Adjusting organisation who are truly passionate and understanding by offering a flexible working model and by full embracing and supporting individuals to grow and develop, are now seeking an experienced Motor Personal Injury Claims Handler to join an existing team of trained technicians.  It is essential that you have excellent working knowledge of serious personal injury claims.

Applicant Requirements

You will also have:

  • Good knowledge of medical disciplines required in investigating personal injury claims at all levels of severity
  • Proven technical knowledge of all heads of claim applying to serious injury claims
  • Excellent negotiation and liability decision making skills
  • Years of experience dealing with Motor claims from the earliest stages of claims reporting - arranging early investigation of accident circumstances to determine liability and in taking witness statements
  • Knowledge of current, relevant Case Law
  • A determination to effectively manage all claims cost
  • A full understanding of all regulatory requirements applicable to the management of motor claims
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to proactively manage your portfolio of claims using an effective diary system and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reserving at all times
  • A proven ability to manage competing priorities and to deliver to agreed client service levels and/or Court timetables
