Internal Claims Adjuster – Manchester, Hybrid working - up to £27k per annum plus an excellent benefits package including 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, full support toward industry qualifications

An experienced Claims Handler is required to join a Property Claims Handling team where you will play a vital role within the business.  You will be offered career development with full support towards Industry qualifications with the opportunity to progress within the business. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Handling property claims (domestic and commercial) up to £100,000
  • Work closely with clients and policyholders
  • Gather information and facts, policy details and work towards a successful resolution by working together with your assigned Loss Adjuster
  • Arrange appointments, site visits and arranging alternative accommodation
  • Liaise with all parties keeping everyone up to date and informed with the progress of the claim
  • Provide a first class customer service at all times to ensure the customer has the best possible experience
  • Take responsibility to resolve problems and complaints

Applicant Requirements

About you:

  • Previous claims handling experience preferably Property / Buildings claims
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent questioning and listening skills
  • Good IT skills with a good attention to detail
  • Industry qualification, working towards or have the desire to work towards
