Major loss adjusting practice seeks to take its business development team to the next level through the appointment of at least 3 additional Business Development Directors. This role will be centred in Scotland, especially around the Central Belt of Glasgow & Edinburgh, and will require you to maintain and develop working relationships with a wide range of brokers, MGAs, corporates, local authorities, educational authorities and housing associations along with a number of medium-sized insurers. You will be part of a strong national team that will look to take a unified approach to all aspects of developing our client's book of business, through an ever-increasing range of principals.
Candidates should have a proven track record of working in client relationships/business development, either with a loss adjusting practice or an insurer. An insurer background will suit if your role involves regular liaison with provincial, national and international brokers in your area. Experience is seemed to be more important than formal qualifications, but the ACII would always be advantageous. The basic salary range is £50-60,000 plus a bonus in relation to your individual performance, car/allowance, pension, medical care and 25 days holiday.
