Job Profile

UK Construction & Engineering Division of an international loss adjusting practice has a potential opportunity for a Chartered Surveyor, to take on a leading national role operating in support of a specialist team.  You will provide a dedicated surveying resource to adjusters who are handling losses allied to construction and engineering risks and in the main they will be viewed as major and complex.  The position is home-based and will require national coverage.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must be MRICS qualified from either the Quantity or Building Surveying Divisions, and you should have experience of working within either a loss adjusting or insurance company claims environment.  Experience of handling construction related losses is not necessary. You can live anywhere within the UK as the position is home-based, but you must be prepared to travel extensively to deal with interesting and challenging losses.  Basic salary in the £70-80,000 range plus excellent benefits package including an attractive bonus system, car/allowance, pension, private medical care and 25 days holiday.
