Job Profile

After a number of significant developments within the major loss field over the last few years, our client is now keen to appoint a new UK Head of Major Loss. The role can be based anywhere in the UK and will require you to oversee a team of over 30 Major & Complex Loss Specialists. Your role will include people management, HR activity, appraisals, business development/client relationships, but you will also carry a small, but significant, caseload. You will report to a Main Board Director but the role will carry great autonomy and allow you to implement your own strategies.

Applicant Requirements

Interested candidates should definitely possess operational management experience alongside major loss expertise. It would probably suit someone operating on a regional basis, who is looking to step-up into a national role. The position is home-based so you can live anywhere within the UK. Formal qualifications through A/FCILA would be preferred, but are not absolutely essential, if you possess the right background and experience. Basic salary likely to exceed £100,000 plus bonuses, share options, car allowance, pension, private medical care and 25 days holiday.
