Hands-on Sales Team Leader role aimed at providing a quality service to clients in respect of renewal and new business insurance arrangements, advising, arranging and securing appropriate cover for clients' demands and needs. Duties will include: providing an effective day to day servicing for clients; building productive relationships with clients; ensuring that their demands and needs are fully understood and met and suitable recommendations provided. Team Leader responsibility for a group of Account Handlers will include dealing with 121 meeting, appraisals and objectives.
Candidates must have commercial insurance experience, a comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, confidence in dealing with customers over the telephone and the ability to negotiate with Insurers. The role requires the ability to lead and motivate a team, provide support and encouragement. Candidates will ideally have experience of team leading or this role may suit a sales account handler looking for the next step up.
