CLAIMS MANAGER with a solid track record in the insurance industry working across several lines. Currently leads large teams of claims assessors, administration staff and department managers to meet end targets as set by MD of business.  Holds principal responsibility for claims spend across Vet Fee Claims and Public Liability Claims. Holds overall responsibility for the handling, negotiation and settlement of PL claims. Preparation of reporting into Underwriters in the form of claims bordereaux. Is responsible for the day to day management of staff, including absence management, performance management and appraisals.

Applicant Qualifications

Certificate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, currently studying for the exams for the Diploma in Insurance.
