OFFICE CLAIMS SUPERVISOR/CLAIMS HANDLER who has a wealth of Claims experience working for the same organisation. Has experience of Domestic and Commercial Property claims including HNW and more complex claims from cradle to grave. Losses include all perils. Currently responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the office circa 10 staff including dealing with and resolving complaints, makes final decisions regarding claims, liaises directly with loss adjusters, private clients, insurance companies, head office and policy holders. Submits quotes for restoration works, approves subcontractor invoices for payment and handles any queries. Raises final invoices for completed works, schedules technicians diary appointments, advises claims handlers and field technicians regarding queries/issues with claims both out onsite and office based. In addition to overseeing the office handles own HNW claims and more complex losses. Prior to this within the same organisation an Insurance Claims Handler, handled between100 - 150clients and files at any one time, read technicians reports after attending insured affected property and input details of insurance claims on the computer system and planned technician's dairies. Liaised with sub-contractors regarding works to be carried out, liaised with Loss Adjusters regarding costs of insurance, details of the claims and recommended works. Created final invoices and reports to be sent to the Insurance Companies or Loss Adjusters. Extremely keen to secure a permanent full-time claims related role within a professional organisation.
