LIABILITY ADJUSTER/MECHANICAL ENGINEER who trained within the manufacturing industry for 11 years before moving into forensic investigation work in 1997. Subsequently moved into liability work and has used engineering skills and qualifications to investigate a wide range of employers and public liability risks.  Currently undertakes site investigations and, when required, the subsequent handling of a mix of injury, property, motor and product liability claims for a wide portfolio of Insurers. Where provided by Insurers, works within a delegated authority scheme to £50,000 for injury work and £100,000 for property work. Is the account manager for two major liability risks and attends at review meetings with board members, brokers and Insurers, presenting liability advice and quantum recommendations.  Seeking an opportunity to develop career with a strong interest in Health and Safety and Risk Management.

Applicant Qualifications

Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Chartered Engineer. Certificate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering (Design). Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
