Job Profile

To take responsibility for various administration tasks within the claims team including scanning, claims record keeping and manual claims processing tasks to support the claims adjusting functions. You will communicate with brokers and service providers to develop strong relationships and knowledge of their business and to obtain information relating to claims queries. Responsible to implement claims diary management and closure of claims and manage the daily BACS run and weekly cheque run. Responsible to reallocate Portal claims and instruct third party service providers and to extract and interpret claims information to ensure compliance with internal and external regulation and procedures. Part of the role will be to develop and refine reports to ensure that the team keep within the key performance indicators.

Applicant Requirements

The successful candidate will have strong written and spoken communication skills.  Be computer literate and possess strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.  Be studying towards or have a real desire to study towards CII qualifications. Have the ability to manipulate claims systems to provide statistical data.
