Scotland: Central belt.
Working within the Domestic Major Loss team, you will be expected to handle a portfolio of domestic major and complex losses, typically in excess of £100,000 in value. You will be expected to cover a geographical area around the Central Belt.
Whilst you must be comfortable working on your own, you will be a core part of an extensive team of major loss adjusters and have dedicated office-based technical and managerial support. Systems training will be available as required along with appropriate support for your caseload. You can either work from a home base or one of the local offices, but most adjusters within the team adopt a mix of home and office-based working throughout the week. The role includes an element of client contact/meetings to discuss complex and technical issues as necessary. You will also be required to engage and work with various internal and external specialists, so excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate various parties is essential.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their experience as a competent property adjuster and ideally be progressing with professional qualifications. You must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to be detailed and interpret information and data quickly and accurately.
