Property Claims Adjuster –Central Scotland - Remote working - up to £38k per annum plus £4,800 car allowance, bonus, full support towards industry qualifications 

Due to growth and expansion an established Claims Management Organisation providing a first class claims service throughout the UK are seeking an experienced Property Claims Consultant/Adjuster to join their Large loss team, where you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of large or complex Domestic and Commercial Losses from £50k upwards with no cap.  Commercial losses will include dealing with landlords and tenants, shops, factories and hospitality buildings.  

You will manage your own diary, liaise with policyholders, suppliers and carry out site visits to assess liability, record, value and negotiate the claim settlement.   You will work closely with the Building Surveyors team and drive settlement of the buildings element of each claim in your control.  You will produce large loss or complex loss reports within agreed timeframes.

Applicant Requirements

As an experienced Property Loss Adjuster / Consultant you will have: 

• Insurance Claims Handling experience working within a field based capacity carrying out site visits
• Domestic Property Claims Handling / Adjusting experience, Commercial Property claims experience advantageous
• Experience of handling losses in excess of £50k
• A good understanding of Insurance/indemnity policies and legal structure
• Excellent client relationship skills both verbal and face to face
• The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Industry qualifications or working towards
• A full clean driving licence

 You will be working from home and field based.  Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
