Claims Supervisor – up to £36k per annum – Surrey 

An established Independent Insurance Broker providing no-nonsense, flexible Insurance solutions to medium to large sized businesses by providing an exceptional customer service are now seeking an experienced Claims professional to join their team based in Surrey where you will play an integral part within the business being a key advocate for clients and policyholders.  Due to expansion and growth of the business this is an exciting time to join a thriving business.  This is a full-time role Monday to Friday working from their Surrey base.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee the claims process and provide claims stats/information and updates to the Board
  • Produce claims reports for individual clients and to Account Managers
  • Provide an exceptional claims service between clients and insurers on involved claims, including large Liability and Property damage losses
  • Provide the above on PI, Management Liability and Construction Claims
  • Attend claims meetings with the Insurer, appointed Loss Adjusters and Clients
  • Manage diaries to ensure claims are kept up to date
  • Provide support and work alongside the claims team
  • Oversee the claims team

Applicant Requirements

About you:

  • Experienced Claims Handler working within an Insurance environment within a more senior role/capacity
  • Experience of handling all classes of claims
  • Exceptional communication skills being able to provide guidance and support to other team members
  • The ability to produce reports to present to Board level
  • Be comfortable with attending meetings alongside relevant parties
  • Claims management experience being able to oversee the life cycle of the claims
  • Experienced in handling and resolving complaints
  • Excellent IT/Systems experience including the use of Acturis
  • Industry qualifications or be working towards
