Property Loss Adjuster - up to £40k/£42k per annum (flexible), car or car allowance £500 per annum, annual bonus, shares plus an excellent benefits package

An experienced Domestic Property Adjuster is required to join a reputable and long-established Insurance Provider who are market-leading, fast-paced, and innovative with a real passion about Customer Care you will join their specialist Property Adjusting team who offer a specialist and dedicated service to help customers throughout the lifecycle of their claim.  You will work closely carrying out site visits throughout the South Wales and Scotland areas assessing Property Damage claims up to £100k, generally up to £35k, covering all peril related losses.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out site visits to policyholders properties to assess damage and produce schedule of work utilising Symbility to settle claims
  • Manage domestic property claims up to £100k, predominantly up to £50k
  • Proactively manage your own caseload of claims from start to finish
  • Build relationships with Surveyors/internal stakeholders
  • Identify potential recoveries/internal stakeholders
  • Make decisions to mitigate losses and prevent secondary damage

 

Applicant Requirements

About you:

  • Previous/current experience managing your own caseload of Domestic Property Claims in a technical environment
  • Field Adjusting experience visiting policyholders’ homes to assess/validate damage
  • Scopes experience using symbility or similar tools
  • Knowledge of validating schedule of works
  • Excellent IT/systems experience – Microsoft
  • CII/CILA qualification preferred but not essential
  • Full clean driving licence
