As a Commercial Account Handler you will be required to work closely with an Account Executive servicing a portfolio of commercial clients. You will handle the internal servicing of clients' accounts and take instructions to deal with necessary adjustments to policies and negotiate with insurers on renewal terms. You will be required to prepare reports, either new business or renewals, for presentation to clients, comment on policy wordings and suggest improvements to covers, checking all documentation before issue to clients.
It is essential that you have previous commercial insurance broking experience, with consideration given to insurance company trained candidates. You will have good administration and communication skills and be capable of dealing with clients and insurers on a daily basis. As part of a small team you must be self motivated and able to work on your own. Progress with insurance examinations preferred.
