National firm of loss adjusters seeks a major loss specialist to operate in an area from the Midlands through the North West, and occasionally into Cumbria and Scotland.  You will handle an ever-increasing portfolio of commercial losses in excess of £100,000. The role will enable you to take on a challenging caseload and to work closely with client relationships for an expanding range of extremely supportive principals.  The role will generally be home-based, but regional offices provide an excellent support network.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must essentially be A/FCILA qualified and have a proven track record of handling losses in excess of £100,000, if not already employed within an existing Major Loss Unit.  Consideration will also be given to MRICS qualified Surveyors who can demonstrate knowledge of insurance aspects and not just a technical surveying background. The ideal candidate could live anywhere within the Midlands or North West, but must be prepared to travel extensively.  Salary to £60,000 plus car allowance, bonus, pension, private medical care and 25 days holiday.
