Job Profile

Chartered Surveyor required by major loss adjusting practice for mixed role handling a variety of domestic subsidence, general perils and major loss claims, principally in an area from the Midlands in to the South East. The subsidence work is a key issue at the moment, but moving forward it will be less important than the perils and major loss work.  You will provide advice and guidance on complex building issues arising from losses referred to you by the commercial property and major loss adjusters.  The position can be home and/or office-based depending on your current location.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must essentially by MCIOB or MRICS qualified with a background in either subsidence or perils work.  You should be happy to travel extensively as the role is spread across a wide geographical area.  An interest in, or previous experience in, agricultural risks would also be advantageous. Basic salary up to £60-65,000 plus market-leading fee-related bonus, car allowance, pension, private medical care and 25 days holiday.
