Job Profile
Rapidly developing building surveying practice seeks to strengthen its South East operation through the appointment of an MRICS qualified Building Surveyor, to work in a mixed role alongside two Associate Directors in the business. You will handle a mix of insurance claims investigation work and general practice surveying work for a wide range of both insurance and non-insurance clients. You will deal with project management and contract administration, building surveys/report writing, preparation of tender and contract documents, scheme designs and specifications. You will also be involved in the management and supervision of building and maintenance work, project monitoring, preparing of schedules of dilapidations and dealing with advice on property legislation and building regulations.
Applicant Requirements
Candidates must essentially be MRICS qualified through the Building Surveying Division and you can live anywhere within the London/South East region, as our client will provide flexible working facilities, so that you can work both from an office and at home. The ideal candidate is likely to have up to 4 years PQE and be frustrated in their current environment and looking for a new challenge. Basic salary budget up to £45,000 but potentially higher and benefits include a generous bonus system, £6,000 annual car allowance, 8% into pension, private medical care and 25 days annual holiday.
