In last role, dealt with perils relating to subsidence, storm, fire, flood, escape of water, vehicle impact, malicious and accidental damage and managed claims up to £50k. Audited and updated reports and schedules of work created by the field-based surveying team. Assessed the accuracy of the scope of repairs, the commerciality of the project and the overall quality of the report. Experienced in reading and interpreting technical data and investigation information within reports. Provided advice and guidance on subject matters including building practices and claims process to the field-based surveying team and office-based claims handling team.
