Job Profile

An experienced Senior Desk-Top Claims Handler is required to join a firm of specialists in disaster recovery and restoration. The role will be office based full time in the Leeds/Bradford area.

Key responsibilities

You will handle cases from first point of contact for new cases to conclusion and invoicing.
You will communicate with customers and instructing clients over the telephone and in writing.
You will allocate contractors and manage building repair, restoration and other suppliers, proactively guiding claims to settlement.
Responding effectively to technical queries, issues and complaints.

Applicant Requirements

You will have a minimum 2 years experience in handling property insurance claims.
You will have the ability to deal with insurers, policyholders, contractors and loss adjusters.
Capable of working within a small team.
Computer literate.
Experience of handling complaints

Salary and Benefits:

Salary up to £34,000 dependent on experience
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
