LOSS ADJUSTER who trained as a quantity surveyor within a well-established construction company prior to entering the adjusting profession. Currently deals with a large and varied caseload of both general perils and subsidence claims typically up to £100,000, but some cases are beyond this. The company’s principals are mainly small specialist high net worth brokers or Lloyds of London. Is responsible for the preparation of preliminary, interim, and final reports to Insurers and deals with correspondence from policyholders, brokers and loss assessors. Also deals with subsidence claims on a cradle to grave basis which involves the initial diagnosis, instructing site investigations, monitoring, instructing repairs and reporting to insurers.  Is looking for a general property loss adjusting opportunity in Scotland.

Applicant Qualifications

Certificate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. HND in Building. OND in Building.
