CLAIMS INVESTIGATOR who has gained 16 years’ general insurance experience. Experienced in managing a caseload of complex and technical claims as well as acting as a technical referral point. Liaises with police officers, coroners, prisons and the general public in order to assist in the investigation of serious and often fatal claims. Handles own caseload taking statements from witnesses and attending inquests, reporting back to client to enable them to make an informed decision on liability. Assists the adjusters with their enquiries.  Keen to return to a full claims handling role, ideally part-time employment and will be flexible regarding days and hours.

Applicant Qualifications

Certificate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and IF7 (Healthcare Insurance). Foundation Certificate in Insurance.
