MOTOR FLEET TRADING UNDERWRITER with 10 years experience in writing Motor Fleet and Motor Trade policies. Currently handling 30-40 renewals per month with a premium range from £500-£150,000. Also looks after a number of Network Brokers providing support as well as negotiating new business premiums. Deals with new business quotes (fleet and motor trade), MTAs and renewals, mentoring of colleagues and account queries.

As a Fleet/Insurance Manager dealt with Public and Employee Liability claims (average 400 per year), settling claims including agreeing liability and quantum with Insurers and negotiating with Solicitors on best course of action on defending claims. Administered 250 vehicles, purchased new vehicles, settled claims related to property damage, burglary and motor, negotiating with Loss Adjusters and acting as contact for 33 stores with regard to insurance queries.

Applicant Qualifications

Member of the Institute of Car Fleet Management.  Educated to GCSE standar.
