DEVELOPMENT UNDERWRITER who has gained over 30 years’ experience within the insurance industry. Initial role with present company involved assisting in developing the new MGA proposition, policy wording, agency base, processes and risk management strategies. Since trading commenced in 2015, the role is primarily new business underwriting for a select panel of brokers in addition to promoting the new company and its USP's. Helped in developing the new MGA proposition, involved in developing the policy wording, trading protocols and agency base, internal processes and risk management strategies. Developed new relationships with brokers that had no previous trading relationship with the underwriting team. New business written in the first 12 months of trading was £1,300,000.

Applicant Qualifications

Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. BSocSc (Joint Honours) in Geography and Planning 2:1.
