Household Claims manager who has gained 14 years experience within the insurance industry. Is currently responsible for a team of 14 claims handlers and a team leader approving payments and handling claims under delegated authority and liaises and meets with clients in order to discuss claims process. Completes staff monthly and yearly one to ones guiding new starters through the 3 month tracker programme and ensuring initial sign off. Ensures calls and correspondence are handled within SLA and team targets are met. Previously was responsible for handling household (buildings and contents) claims from initial notification through to settlement under delegated authority of £10,000 on behalf of a major insurer.·
