COMMERCIAL UNDERWRITER who has worked within the insurance industry for over 8 years’ and is experienced in multiple classes of commercial insurance. Currently underwrites commercial insurance for the care sector, including public/products liability, employers' liability, professional indemnity, management liability and property insurance. Works within a renewal team targeted at 90% retention, dealing with midterm adjustments maintaining relationships with brokers throughout the UK and ensuring profitability of risks. Also responsible for deputising management, creating strategies/processes for managing workflow. Premiums range from £100 to £200,000.  Looking for a new challenge and opportunities for progression and development.

Applicant Qualifications

Diploma of the Chartered Insurance Institute - Dip CII. BA (Hons) Politics (European Studies) 2:1.
