TRADING UNDERWRITER with over 7 years’ experience gained in the insurance industry, dealing with new business, MTAs and business retention. Successfully grown a Property & Casualty account (premium spend up to £500k) through proactive visibility. Was accountable for the profitability and growth of the Liability, Commercial Combined and Commercial Property account. Prior experience includes broking for a niche corporate broker and SME underwriting for a large UK insurer.

 

Effective at communicating and creating risk management propositions for brokers and customers. Proficient perception of general insurance risk features, capable terming positive and detracting risk factors across abroad spectrum of classes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent self-management and analytical skills developed through broking and underwriting commercial experience.
