INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER with over 15 years’ general insurance experience gained within an insurer and broking environments. Experienced in handling both new business and renewal personal lines business working to set targets. Has handled both motor and household risks, regularly achieving targets. Until recently, covered two specialist areas of insurance - the first was a scheme which was a unique product which deals with home, car and travel insurance policies for customers who look after people with special needs. The second was a commercial product and involved the running of a small book of business which dealt solely with the insurance of fairground rides and public liability. Undertook inbound and outbound calls to clients to discuss renewal quotes. Contacted insurers to obtain manual quotes for clients and updated claims information prior to renewal. Looked out for opportunities to cross sell other products and services which could benefit the client. Regularly hit monthly targets.  Is keen to return to working within the insurance sector.
