COMMERCIAL NEW BUSINESS UNDERWRITER who has gained almost 4 years’ general insurance experience. Has worked in both claims and underwriting, initially handling equine claims before moving into commercial underwriting dealing with new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments. In current role, has continued to build strong trading skills. Has delegated underwriting authority for QBE (commercial combined) and Chubb (combined liability, contract works, contractors' liability, excess of loss). Builds relationships with brokers including frequent face to face visits. Negotiated a rollover deal worth £250,000 GWP across liability and professional indemnity business.  Interested in looking at new opportunities in the industry.

Applicant Qualifications

Diploma of the Chartered Insurance Institute - DipCII. Certificate of the Chartered Insurance Institute - CertCII. MA in Conflict, Governance and Development. BA History, Minor in Political Science.
